This includes raw materials as well as logistics, trucking, container logistics, machinery, office locations and professional services. Basically, procurement has a major impact on the company’s results. There are many different roles available within Procurement, from buyers who negotiate the best deals with suppliers and procurement directors who manage procurement across our Business Units to Global Category managers who are responsible for one specific ingredient worldwide. Our procurement excellence team is made up of analysts who support the buyers and category managers and procurement planners who ensure buyers know how much to buy. We even have financial roles too.
