This program offers early career talent a unique chance to grow across the entire supply chain, while learning from diverse teams globally.
We’re preparing young professionals with the skills and hands-on experience needed to excel in various supply chain roles across Nutreco’s global operations.
Why are we doing this:
The Nutreco end-to-end Supply Chain, includes - Sustainability, Quality, Procurement, Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, Maintenance, Engineering, Planning, Logistics, Warehousing, Customer Service.
We offer a structured 18-month program with three six-month rotations across key areas of the supply chain.
You will start in your home country, building a strong foundation in systems, processes, and operations. You will then complete two international rotations, gaining hands-on experience in different countries and working on real operational and strategic challenges.
You will collaborate with diverse teams, share best practices, and develop a deep understanding of our global, end-to-end supply chain. At the end of the program, you will return to your home country equipped with practical experience, global insights, and the skills to strengthen local supply chain performance.
We are committed to your growth from day one. Alongside your rotations, you’ll embark on a dynamic learning journey combining hands-on experience, global exposure, and expert support to help you become the supply chain professional you want to be.
Academy Weeks: Each rotation begins with a classroom-based training week aimed at providing a strong foundation before starting the rotation on both technical and personal development. Technical sessions cover supply chain systems, tools, best practices and processes, while personal development focuses on communication, collaboration, and personal effectiveness.
Continuous learning: Each rotation includes targeted learning and development to build skills and deepen your supply chain knowledge helping you grow faster and contribute with impact from day one.
Global project: Collaborate with fellow young professionals globally to tackle real strategic challenges, develop sustainable solutions for Nutreco’s future, and work alongside senior leaders to make an impact on a global scale.
Mentoring and coaching: Receive personalized mentorship and feedback from senior industry leaders, plus dedicated coaching from your program manager to support your development.
As a Supply Chain Young Professional, you’ll work in three different areas of the supply chain, all in real roles with real impact. These could include:
Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
Learn how we plan for the right products, in the right place, at the right time. You’ll work on forecasting customer demand, balancing supply, managing inventory, and understanding how quality and sustainability are built into our decisions.
Procurement
Discover how we source the best ingredients and materials at the right price, while making sure they meet our quality and sustainability standards. It's about smart buying that supports our purpose.
Production
Gain exposure to how our feed and food products are made. You’ll see how we run efficient operations, keep quality high, reduce waste, and improve processes all while working in modern production environments.
Quality
Understand how we ensure every product meets our customers’ expectations, nothing more, nothing less. You'll learn about our quality mindset and how we solve challenges to keep standards high.
Sustainability
See how sustainability is part of everything we do, from sourcing and production to delivery. You’ll support real projects that help reduce our carbon footprint, minimize waste, and protect people, animals, and the planet.

Professional experience and passion: You have completed a master’s degree and have a genuine passion in end-to-end supply chain, with the analytical and problem-solving skills to thrive in a dynamic, international environment.
Proactive learners: Enjoy mastering complex concepts and applying learnings in practical ways to make an impact.
Creative problem solvers: Ability to approach challenges creatively, thinking outside the box to find the best solutions.
Global mobility and adaptability: Must be fully internationally mobile willing to relocate for two 6-month international rotations. Must hold a home country passport; visa sponsorship is not available.
Professional experience and passion: Maximum of two years of experience in supply chain, business administration or manufacturing environments.
Language: Good proficiency of business English and local language
