In addition to technical expertise, the role requires familiarity with setting up an AI Center of Excellence (CoE).

Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop and scale digital applications using Microsoft’s Power Platform, enabling automation and process optimisation
• Engage with our Business Units around the globe to identify digitization and automation opportunities with applications to drive efficiency, data drive decision making, and innovation across the organization. 
• Help us further build and nurture a global network of hyper-automation citizen developers who are colleagues working in different locations and departments across the organisation that are able to automate their own processes and drive innovation within their teams.  
• Lead digital innovation projects, working with Scrum teams, IT leaders, and Business Units to accelerate digital transformation. 
• Utilise the power of (Agentic) AI, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and low code/no code solutions to enhance business processes and optimise decision-making. 
• Ensure that implemented solutions are tracked and value validated by Finance. 
• Act as a Scrum Master within the team, facilitating Agile practices and ensuring that the team adheres to Scrum principles. This involves organizing and leading Scrum ceremonies, managing team dynamics, and driving continuous improvement within the development process.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s Degree, ideally in Computer Science, Innovation Management or a related field 
• Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience designing and deploying automation solutions, including RPA tools (Power Automate), low-code platforms (Power Apps), AI tools (Copilot) and intelligent dashboards (Power BI).
• Experience in change management (ADKAR)  
• Fluency in English and effectively communicating and networking with business and stakeholders. 
• A team player and making impact together mindset with eagerness to learn, develop, and no hesitation to invest time to understand Nutreco's business around the world.  
• Experience with AI, Low Code Platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform), or Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is required. 
• Essential soft skills encompass a keen analytical mindset, a passion for technology and innovation, adaptability to emerging trends, and excellent communication skills promote community engagement and to connect technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

Location:

• This position is open to candidates located in or near Amersfoort or Boxmeer, Netherlands, as well as remote candidates based anywhere within Europe, ideally located near any of Nutreco's relevant business units.
